Abstract painting made on commission : 24 little paintings of 30x30 cm that together form 1 whole, on a (pomegranate) red wall and composed of warm colors. Quite a quest, because that red background turned out to be much more determining than I had estimated beforehand 😜.
 
Many versions painted over, until I could let go of all preconceptions, doubts and expectations. Only when I started the last layer with the idea: “if it doesn't work out, I'll just start all over again”, did I find room to really create freely.
