ABSTRACT PAINTINGS

For me, abstract painting is clearing your mind and operating from your feelings. Feeling what is present in you at that moment, letting go of everything and putting your emotions on canvas with full abandon. The result is sometimes amazing and cannot be predicted in advance.

Painting from your feelings is for me also a brief time spent away from the world, going inside and taking time for myself alone.

The bright and warm colours reflect my fiery, sometimes restless and passionate qualities, which for a long time were suppressed and were not allowed to be seen. The lighter shades are more a reflection of my soft strength and sensitivity.
